I'm 18, a student from the UK, and in recovery from Anorexia Nervosa and Self Harm.
This is where i'm going to post about my recovery, stuff i find helpful or inspirational, (cause all you guys out there have helped me so much) and just being honest and venting when i'm not doing so well, so kind of like a diary i suppose.
I love Yoga and I'll also post/reblog stuff i like from various fandoms.
This is a pro-recovery blog.

"Recovery does not mean cure. Rather recovery is an attitude, a stance, and a way of approaching the day’s challenges. It is not a perfectly linear journey. There are times of rapid gains and disappointing relapses. There are times of just living, just staying quiet, resting and regrouping. Each person’s journey of recovery is unique. Each person must find what works for them. This means that we must have the opportunity to try and to fail and to try again."

"It is not a sudden leap from sick to well. It is a slow, strange meander from sick to mostly well. The misconception that eating disorders are a medical disease in the traditional sense is not helpful here. There is no ‘cure’. A pill will not fix it, though it may help. Ditto therapy, ditto food, ditto endless support from family and friends. You fix it yourself."
